Materials Research and Development Process Technician

The Materials Research and Development Process Technician role is onsite in Saint Marys, PA, with pay of $21–$29 per hour. The technician joins Antora Energy’s materials development team at a vendor facility, supporting work on materials for thermal energy storage systems. Antora’s mission is to deliver affordable, reliable energy to industry, data centers, and the grid. The technician sets up and runs high-temperature experiments with engineers, operates instrumentation and data acquisition systems, and documents results. The work supports development of materials and experimental processes for Antora’s thermal batteries.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and monitor furnaces and experimental equipment
• prepare and load samples
• configure and operate data acquisition systems and sensors
• maintain experiment records and reports
• calibrate and maintain instrumentation
• track supplies and sample inventory
• follow safety procedures
• collaborate with materials development engineers.
