What you'll do

• Assess illness or injury and obtain medical history when possible
• stabilize patients and manage airways
• provide oxygen, CPR, cardiac monitoring, venous access, IV fluids, and medications under protocols
• perform invasive and non-invasive therapies
• lead patient care teams
• coordinate with dispatch
• transport patients safely
• document care
• check vehicles and replenish supplies
• operate emergency vehicles safely.
