Security Guard — Transitional Living Center, Morning Shift

The Security Guard — Transitional Living Center, Morning Shift role is onsite in San Jose, CA, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation is $21 per hour. The guard supports safety for residents and staff at a transitional living facility. The role helps maintain a secure and orderly site through regular patrols, access screening, surveillance, incident reporting, and communication. It also includes responding to emergencies and coordinating with staff or law enforcement when needed.

What you'll do

• Patrol the property every 30 minutes to one hour
• complete Daily Activity Reports
• screen residents before entry and conduct bag checks as needed
• assist staff with room checks when necessary
• monitor CCTV
• de-escalate conflicts
• administer first aid and CPR as needed
• collaborate with law enforcement when necessary
• uphold security protocols.
