Fire Damage Restoration Technician

Job overview

The Fire Damage Restoration Technician role is onsite in San Leandro, CA. Compensation is $21–$26 per hour. SERVPRO’s Fire and Major Loss department works to help repair fire and water damage and restore affected properties. The technician performs cleaning, contents handling, and job-site preparation and cleanup, following project instructions and safety requirements. The role helps deliver consistent restoration work and maintain professional equipment and vehicles.

What you'll do

• Photograph existing damage
• wrap, pack, crate, load, unload, and return customer contents
• clean structures and contents using instructed procedures and equipment
• inventory and load project supplies and equipment
• prepare rooms and work areas
• follow security and risk-management guidelines
• communicate with supervisors and technicians
• clean up and break down work areas at the end of a job.
