What you'll do

• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, supplies, and subcontractor services
• manage purchase orders from initiation through closeout
• maintain purchasing policies and procedures
• balance department workloads
• transfer vendor and purchasing data into purchasing and accounting systems
• maintain electronic price files
• track market changes
• prepare reports on purchasing trends and vendor performance
• and contribute to process improvements.
