Job overview

The Residential Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Staten Island, NY, with Sunday–Thursday schedules and available shifts of 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., or 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Pay is $18–$21 per hour. HASC Center supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in pursuing independence and community integration. The role provides person-centered residential support, helping individuals with daily living and independent-living skills while following their support plans. It also contributes to safety, socialization, skill building, and participation in community life.

What you'll do

  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living and independent-living skills according to plan documents
  • follow individual support and behavior plans
  • document outcomes and observations
  • provide protective oversight
  • accompany individuals on community outings
  • communicate with program staff
  • report incidents
  • attend meetings and training
  • transport individuals in agency vehicles as needed.
