What you'll do

• Performs required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections of tractor/truck and trailer.
• Reports safety issues and repairs.
• Follows DOT regulations and safe driving guidelines.
• Inspects trailer for proper loading and security.
• Ensures route paperwork is available.
• Drives and delivers trailers according to schedule.
• Performs hook/unhook procedures.
• Parks and stores tractor trailers.
• Secures equipment and freight.
• Collects and secures damaged goods and customer returns.
• Unloads equipment, materials, and trash.
• Completes daily record of hours of service.
• Performs general housekeeping duties.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
