CNC Mill Operator – 1st Shift

The CNC Mill Operator – 1st Shift role is onsite in Rockford, IL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The stated pay range is $25–$35 per hour. The position supports a manufacturing team producing precision components. The operator sets up and runs CNC milling and general machining equipment, manages machine programs, interprets blueprints, and inspects finished parts. The role also troubleshoots production issues, performs routine equipment upkeep, and supports team production goals and process improvements.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and general machining equipment
• read blueprints, part drawings, and job routings
• load, unload, and manage machine programs
• inspect finished parts and perform in-process quality checks
• communicate production concerns and improvement opportunities
• troubleshoot machine and production issues
• perform routine equipment maintenance
• maintain a clean and safe workspace
• support team production goals.

Why this role
