International Tax Director

The role leads complex international tax compliance and planning engagements, ensuring technical quality, accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness. It also coordinates expertise across domestic teams and foreign advisors, develops tax professionals, and supports client relationships and business development.

What you'll do

• Lead complex international tax engagements for multinational businesses, privately held companies, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals
• advise on cross-border planning, structures, transactions, and compliance
• oversee preparation and review of U.S. tax returns with cross-border implications and information reporting
• research CFCs, Subpart F, GILTI, foreign tax credits, PFICs, tax treaties, and withholding requirements
• monitor tax law changes and communicate impacts
• coordinate with domestic tax teams and foreign advisors
• review returns, workpapers, and deliverables
• manage budgets, timelines, staffing, and client expectations
• mentor tax professionals and support recruiting
• build client relationships and identify additional services and business development opportunities.

Why this role

Requires an active CPA license and 10+ years of public accounting experience with significant corporate international tax experience. A master's degree in Taxation or Accounting is preferred.
