The Press Operator — Metal Stamping role is onsite in Shelton, CT, and pays $19–$23 per hour. Precision Resource’s Connecticut division produces precision metal components and assemblies for customers in industries including automotive, heavy duty, medical, electronics, cutlery, and defense. The operator sets up and runs press machines to produce stamped parts through the fineblanking process. The role supports production quality and output through inspections, accurate records, equipment operation, and participation in continuous improvement and safety activities.

What you'll do

• Perform press operations according to job instructions
• assist with first- and last-piece inspections
• stack or fill parts into tote pans
• maintain production levels
• perform quality checks and report issues
• operate an uncoiler/straightener
• communicate problems and deficiencies
• recommend process improvements
• assist with training new operators
• participate in continuous improvement and safety training
• maintain a clean work area and accurate records.
