Senior Transportation Officer

The Senior Transportation Officer position is onsite in Reno, NV. Pay is $33.80 per hour. The GEO Group provides correctional and community reentry services to government partners; this role supports its GEO Secured Services transportation operations. The officer securely transports detainees, helps lead high-risk transportation operations, and ensures vehicles, permits, safety equipment, and trip records meet applicable requirements. The role also assists management in resolving unexpected transportation issues and maintaining safe, compliant missions.

What you'll do

• Securely transport detainees between destinations
• assist management with unexpected transportation problems
• review vehicle inspection reports and summarize findings
• verify vehicle permits, licenses, and safety equipment
• track Department of Transportation hours of service on electronic logging devices
• assist with applicant interviews and screening when required
• complete and submit required reports
• ensure missions meet or exceed PBNDS/FBNDS safety measures.
