The Senior Piping Engineer role is onsite in Beaumont, TX. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Hargrove’s engineering and design work for process and manufacturing projects. The engineer provides technical direction and, when serving as lead engineer, ensures mechanical deliverables and services meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations. The role develops and checks piping designs, coordinates with other disciplines, supports procurement and construction, and guides less experienced engineering and drafting staff.

What you'll do

• Provide technical direction to engineers and designers
• deliver mechanical project work
• perform stress analysis, calculations, estimates, and specifications
• develop conceptual layouts and preliminary designs
• prepare material take-offs and detailed design calculations
• assist drafting with layouts
• review vendor and discipline drawings
• check calculations for accuracy and code compliance
• develop construction specifications
• review fabrication and construction submittals
• perform fieldwork and construction support
• communicate scope changes
• guide less experienced staff and coordinate with discipline leads.
