The Banking Fund Finance Associate Attorney role is onsite in Charlotte, NC, with a stated annual salary range of $260,000–$390,000. Direct Counsel is recruiting for an Am Law firm’s nationally recognized Fund Finance practice, which represents banks, asset managers, and other financial institutions. The attorney will represent lenders in fund finance and related lending transactions, advise on syndicated, commercial, and leveraged finance matters, and structure, negotiate, and document complex financings. The role also supports due diligence, transaction closings, and strategic legal advice throughout each transaction.

What you'll do

• Represent lenders and financial institutions in fund finance transactions
• advise on syndicated lending, commercial lending, and leveraged finance
• structure and negotiate subscription credit facilities, NAV financings, acquisition financings, and other lending transactions
• draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, and related financing documents
• conduct due diligence and manage closings
• collaborate with clients and legal teams
• provide strategic legal advice throughout transactions.
