The Mechanic II - 3rd Shift is an onsite role based in Saint Paul, MN. This role exists to perform essential shop duties, including routine preventative maintenance and complex mechanical and electrical repairs on trailers and refrigeration units. The mechanic ensures operational efficiency by diagnosing and repairing equipment independently to meet the company's distribution standards.

What you'll do

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration
• diagnose, remove, repair, replace or rebuild clutches, water pumps, tires, tractor suspension, body repairs, rear differentials, drive lines, transmissions, wheel seals, and brake systems
• perform front wheel and axle alignments
• troubleshoot cooling systems
• conduct diagnostic tests
• cut or weld using cutting torch and welding machine
• maintain shop tools
• complete paperwork and computer input.
