What you'll do

• Triage patients and assign appropriate categories
• prioritize care based on patient needs and flow
• communicate status changes and diagnostic results to emergency physicians
• assess and reassess patients, pain, and hemodynamic status
• provide direct care and adjust nursing processes as needed
• monitor cardiac rhythms
• perform and interpret waived point-of-care tests
• administer medications
• document care
• educate patients and families
• maintain a safe therapeutic environment and adequate supplies.
