Medication Aide

Job overview

The Medication Aide role is onsite in Rockwell, NC, with pay of $13–$20 per hour. The position supports residents at The Meadows of Rockwell Retirement Center, which focuses on safe, comfortable communities where seniors can thrive. The aide administers and documents medications accurately, monitors residents' health, and reports concerns to the nursing team. What you'll do

• Prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and company protocols
• store, handle, and dispose of medications properly
• monitor and report adverse reactions
• observe and report changes in health, behavior, and physical condition
• measure and record vital signs as needed
• assist with basic healthcare tasks under licensed staff supervision
• build positive resident relationships
• encourage participation in wellness programs
• follow infection control procedures
• maintain organized and secure medication carts, records, and supplies
• respond to emergencies and assist with emergency care when necessary.
