Psychotherapist Intern — Outpatient Clinic

The Psychotherapist Intern role is onsite in Sarasota, FL, with an option to work 50% via telemedicine from the beginning of employment. Independent contractors choose their working hours; offices are open Monday–Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments, with telemedicine availability Friday–Sunday. Pay is $35–$40 per billable hour. Harmony United Psychiatric Care operates outpatient mental health clinics offering in-person and virtual care. The intern provides assessments, diagnoses, therapeutic interventions, psychotherapy, and counseling for patients with varied mental health conditions. The role also includes collaboration with multidisciplinary providers, patient and family psychoeducation, and compliant service documentation.

What you'll do

• Provide psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions
• deliver psychotherapy and counseling
• collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers
• provide psychoeducation to patients and families
• document services in accordance with company policies and procedures
• maintain professional knowledge through continuing education.

Why this role
