What you'll do

• Oversee scientific strategies supporting validation and approvals for Food Science Division products in the Americas
• coordinate scientific documents, validation reports for AOAC and Health Canada, and responses to regulatory inquiries
• collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams
• supervise strategic scientific partnerships
• monitor scientific developments and regulatory guidance
• represent the company with agencies and external stakeholders
• ensure compliance with applicable requirements and internal policies.

Why this role

Requires an advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and at least five years of experience in scientific affairs or a related field in food or biotechnology. Knowledge of AOAC, Health Canada, or MAPA validation processes is appreciated; USDA and FDA food microbiology knowledge is highly considered.
