What you'll do

• Perform utilization review and clinical access evaluations for inpatient admissions
• apply InterQual criteria to support level-of-care decisions
• collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams on patient placement and transitions
• identify opportunities to improve utilization and throughput
• document reviews in Cerner
• communicate findings
• support regulatory and payer compliance
• and assist with patient flow coordination.
