Laser Marking Technician

The Laser Marking Technician is a full-time, onsite role in Sumner, WA. Pay is $20–$28 per hour for onsite Washington applicants. The role supports RTCA's aerospace and defense programs by producing accurate, compliant, and traceable markings on aerospace components.

What you'll do

• Set up, program, and operate fiber laser marking equipment, including Epilog systems
• create and edit marking layouts, graphics, logos, serial numbers, and identification codes
• interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, specifications, and work instructions
• verify marking content and legibility
• inspect marked parts
• maintain traceability and quality records
• configure laser parameters and fixtures
• troubleshoot quality issues
• support process improvement and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, laser marking, engraving, CNC, or similar equipment experience, and ability to interpret drawings and work with CAD or DXF files. US Person status is required for export-control compliance.
