CNC Haas Lathe Setup Machinist

The CNC Haas Lathe Setup Machinist role is onsite in Avon Lake, OH. Pay is $27–$31 per hour, with a 10% shift differential stated in the posting. The schedule is second shift, 3 p.m.–11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. The machinist sets up CNC mills and lathes and prepares production runs for operators. Accurate tooling, program adjustments, fixtures, and documented setup parameters help produce quality parts and repeatable operations.

What you'll do

• Set up CNC mills and lathes
• load tooling and programs and adjust speeds, feeds, depth of cut, and chamfers as needed
• set fixtures, tooling, and vises
• review work orders and prints
• verify raw materials
• run the first production piece
• document repeatable setup parameters
• develop common tooling for CNC milling equipment.
