The nurse coordinates care through preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases, supporting safe surgical care and patient recovery. The role assesses and prepares patients, collaborates with surgical and anesthesia teams, monitors outcomes, and provides recovery care and education.

What you'll do

• Assess patients before surgery
• educate patients and families
• verify consent, administer medications, and coordinate preoperative protocols
• provide intraoperative nursing support
• monitor and document patient responses
• communicate with surgical, anesthesia, and recovery teams
• provide postoperative recovery care, pain management, wound assessment, and discharge education
• maintain electronic medical records.
