The CNC Patternmaker role is onsite in Granite City, IL. Compensation starts at $40.80 per hour under the applicable collective bargaining agreement, with progression through its wage scale. The role supports manufacturing and casting production by maintaining patterns, tooling, fixtures, and related equipment. The patternmaker builds, modifies, repairs, and maintains production patterns and core boxes, verifies dimensional accuracy, and troubleshoots tooling issues. This work helps production meet quality, dimensional, and operational requirements while supporting product development and process improvements.

What you'll do

• Construct, modify, repair, and maintain production patterns and core boxes
• interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and work instructions
• operate and maintain pattern-making equipment
• inspect dimensions and verify tooling accuracy
• support additive manufacturing and 3D printing as required
• troubleshoot tooling and production issues
• maintain tooling records
• follow safety and quality requirements.
