What you'll do

  • Assume 24-hour responsibility for resident care on the assigned unit
  • supervise charge nurses
  • report incidents and follow up
  • communicate resident condition or care changes to physicians and families
  • conduct twice-daily rounds
  • collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
  • review clinical records
  • monitor and report infections
  • participate in quality assurance activities and policy development.
