The Primary Care Physician role is onsite in Washington, DC and/or Hyattsville, MD. Compensation is $205,000–$240,000 per year. La Clínica del Pueblo is a community-based Federally Qualified Health Center focused on health equity and culturally responsive, integrated care for communities facing structural barriers to care. The physician provides comprehensive, evidence-based primary care across the lifespan and works with interdisciplinary teams to address medical needs and social drivers of health. The role includes preventive and acute care, chronic condition management, patient education, referrals, team-based planning, and rotating after-hours on-call coverage.

What you'll do

• Provide primary care to a dedicated patient panel, including preventive care, acute visits, and chronic condition management
• conduct histories, examinations, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
• develop treatment plans
• provide screenings and patient education
• document encounters in the electronic health record
• review outside records and diagnostic results
• coordinate referrals and services
• collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• participate in team meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement
• participate in rotating after-hours on-call coverage.

Why this role

MD or DO and board certification in internal medicine, pediatrics, or family medicine required unless exempt under policy. Current or pending licensure in DC and Maryland required. Spanish proficiency is a plus, not required. May supervise health professional students and graduates as needed.
