What you'll do

• Read menus and estimate food requirements
• obtain food from storage
• prepare and cook food to company standards
• measure and mix ingredients
• cook a range of menu items
• check doneness and temperatures
• portion and garnish food
• maintain sanitation and orderliness
• coordinate with food service employees
• replenish food and service-line items
• prepare items for the next day's meals. Some listed tasks, including produce preparation, butchering, and baking, may be performed as needed.
