Medication Aide — Senior Living

The position combines resident support with medication-related duties, helping maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and independence. It also contributes to continuity of care by observing residents, documenting medication assistance, and reporting concerns to nursing or health-care leadership.

What you'll do

• Check on assigned residents and report or document changes in condition
• respond to resident call bells
• assist with activities of daily living and life-enrichment activities
• assist with medication and treatment observation using the medication observation record and Six Rights of Medication Pass
• document doses, refusals, or missed doses
• report concerns
• restock medication carts
• count narcotics with another medication care manager or nurse
• record vital signs.
