What you'll do

• Perform limited-scope X-ray examinations
• position patients and select imaging techniques while minimizing radiation exposure
• follow ALARA practices
• verify patient identity and orders
• document and transmit images
• maintain imaging equipment and areas
• perform quality-control activities
• support clinical tasks such as specimen collection, point-of-care testing, authorized medication administration, EKGs, and wound care
• and assist with rooming and patient flow.
