Cost Accountant

The Cost Accountant role is fully onsite at the corporate office in North Scottsdale, AZ. Compensation is a base salary of up to $125,000 per year. The position focuses primarily on costing, inventory valuation, and margin analysis, with additional support for general accounting and month-end close. Its work helps maintain accurate inventory records, strengthen costing processes, and give operational leaders insight into profitability.

What you'll do

• Maintain standard costs, bills of materials, and cost structures
• analyze cost of goods sold, gross margins, and cost variances
• reconcile inventory and investigate discrepancies
• oversee physical counts and cycle-count analysis
• account for intercompany inventory transactions
• prepare journal entries, accruals, and cost adjustments
• support monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• complete balance-sheet reconciliations and subledger-to-general-ledger tie-outs
• support internal controls, audits, ERP implementation, and process improvements.
