The role contributes to patients’ active and healthy lifestyles through diagnosis, treatment, education, and preventive care.

What you'll do

• Examine legs and feet to diagnose diseases
• treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting feet and ankles
• provide wound care management
• diagnose foot and ankle diseases and deformities using histories, examinations, imaging, and laboratory results
• prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery
• advise patients on treatment and preventive foot and ankle care
• educate and consult with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• maintain medical records.
