The School-Based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Behavioral Technician role is onsite in Torrance, CA, supporting students in school settings; compensation is not specified. Cortica partners with local schools to extend neurodevelopmental care into students’ learning environments. The technician provides one-to-one and group behavior support, implements individualized behavior intervention plans and skill programs aligned with students’ education goals, and works with school teams to support engagement, learning, communication, and self-regulation. The role also includes progress data collection, documentation, and following school safety protocols.

What you'll do

  • Provide one-to-one and group behavior analytic services in schools
  • implement individualized behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs aligned with student IEPs and school goals
  • collaborate with school teams
  • support communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care
  • collect progress and behavior data and complete session notes and incident reports
  • follow safety, crisis, de-escalation, and mandated reporting procedures
  • travel between assigned sites as needed.

Why this role

School-calendar role with a consistent Monday–Friday availability window of 7:30 AM–3:45 PM; minimum four paid hours per day when available and accepting assignments. BCAT certification is required within 30 days of hire for districts that require it.
