The Security Specialist, General (Mid-Level) role is onsite in Arlington, VA; compensation is not specified. The specialist supports security compliance, risk management, and operational security across personnel, physical, industrial, information, and program security. The role maintains processes and records, assesses compliance, advises personnel, and coordinates security actions with government and program stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Administer security processes, records, and compliance requirements
• interpret and apply policies, regulations, and government directives
• conduct inspections, self-assessments, audits, and compliance reviews
• analyze issues and recommend corrective actions
• manage clearance processing, access determinations, visit requests, and documentation
• support classified meetings and secure facilities
• coordinate with customers and stakeholders
• assist with procedures and internal controls
• support investigations and incident reporting
• deliver briefings and awareness training
• and prepare reports and metrics.

Why this role

Requires at least three years of relevant security operations or compliance experience, experience in government, military, DoD, or Intelligence Community environments, an active IAT/IAM Level II certification, and a Top Secret clearance or higher with SAP/SAR eligibility. SFPC or PSC must be obtained or maintained within one year of hire. A bachelor’s degree or qualifying experience substitution is required.
