What you'll do
- Ensure nursing coverage and timely completion of daily nursing tasks
- support jail staff and administration
- follow company manuals and nursing procedures
- assist with pharmacy utilization reviews and nursing program evaluations
- participate in policy development
- identify equipment needs
- submit weekly and monthly reports
- attend mandatory meetings
- respond to emergencies
- conduct patient intake and sick-call clinic
- verify medication orders and administer medications
- complete treatments and collect ordered labs
- assist with chronic care clinic
- monitor and report changes
- document care and maintain confidentiality.
