The role helps protect the University’s legal, financial, regulatory, and intellectual property interests while enabling research through consistent, efficient contracting practices.

What you'll do

• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop research contracts professionals
• oversee review, drafting, negotiation, and execution of research-related agreements
• guide complex negotiations and serve as an escalation point
• manage a portfolio of complex research agreements
• collaborate with faculty, researchers, legal counsel, sponsors, and University stakeholders
• improve negotiation practices and processes
• maintain contract documentation and records.
