The Assistant to Lead Caregiver Trainer and Caregiver — Field Support role is hybrid in Howell, MI, with work across the Howell and Brighton area. Pay is $36,400 per year to start ($1,400 biweekly). FirstLight Home Care supports clients, families, and caregivers through training, field supervision, and direct home care. The role divides time between assisting with caregiver training and supervision and providing direct client care. It also supports care quality, client and family welcome visits, and scheduling and coverage needs, helping caregivers deliver care in line with care plans.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Caregiver Trainer with hands-on training for new and current caregivers
• conduct supervisory visits in clients’ homes to check care quality and care-plan adherence
• conduct meet-and-greets and welcome visits with new clients and families
• provide about 20 hours per week of direct care, including bathing, dressing, mobility, transfers, and companionship
• support scheduling and coverage needs, including some nights and weekends.
