The Accountant, Alternative Investment Accounting role is onsite in Henrico, VA. Compensation is not specified. The role helps maintain accurate financial reporting and a strong control environment through portfolio accounting, reconciliations, transaction reviews, and process improvement. It partners with Finance and Investment teams to support strategic decisions and efficient delivery.

What you'll do

• Support U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting and reporting for alternative assets
• perform general ledger reconciliations, transaction reviews, loan pricing analysis, real estate owned accounting, and financial statement preparation
• assist with SOX control documentation and risk evaluation
• review accounting system outputs and research accounting guidance
• collaborate on business process and technology improvements with Finance and Investment teams.
