The Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) - Initial License Trainee role is an onsite position based in Richland, NY. Compensation is specified as $159,000.00 to $182,000.00 per year, supporting the Nine Mile Point Generating Station. The role exists to train and prepare candidates to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor. Upon completion of training, the candidate will be fully licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to supervise licensed activities in the reactor control room and oversee reactor and equipment operators.

What you'll do

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom, examination, and on-the-job training.
• Successfully complete all phases to obtain an SRO license.
• Perform emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and outage support activities.
