Billing Specialist

The Billing Specialist role is onsite in Tampa, FL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Compensation is $16–$20 per hour. The role supports MaintenX’s customer billing operations and works with service coordinators and managers to resolve invoice issues.

What you'll do

• Review assigned invoice batches and prioritize submissions by customer payment schedules
• submit completed invoices through customer portals, email, or mail
• identify missing or incorrect invoice information
• follow up with service coordinators, managers, and billing colleagues to resolve work-order and invoice issues
• escalate unresolved delays
• follow up on escalated batch issues daily
• and may assist with subcontractor invoices and customer-requested completion documents.
