Automated Test Engineer — Partial Telework

Job overview

The Automated Test Engineer — Partial Telework role is based in Annapolis Junction, MD, with partial telework of up to two days per week after acclimation and when duties allow. Compensation is $120,000–$260,000 per year. The engineer supports a U.S. Government customer on the Report Authoring and Dissemination team. The role develops and maintains automated tests to validate software enhancements and support modernization of authoring and dissemination tools. Working with an Agile team, the engineer executes test suites, documents defects and metrics, and integrates testing into continuous integration and delivery workflows.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts using Cypress
• execute test suites, analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and document defects and metrics
• partner with DevOps and software engineers to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
• participate in Agile ceremonies
• understand requirements and ensure test coverage for new features and bug fixes.
