The Electrical Project Engineer – Industrial and Gas Facilities role is remote, with the candidate required to be located in the San Ramon, CA area. Compensation is $90,000 to $110,000 annually. ENTRUST Solutions Group supports energy and infrastructure modernization and reliability. The engineer develops and reviews electrical design deliverables and analyses for project design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. The role coordinates electrical and instrumentation requirements across disciplines and verifies that designs meet applicable codes, client criteria, and project needs.

What you'll do

• Develop, coordinate, and review electrical engineering deliverables
• prepare electrical diagrams, layouts, plans, schedules, specifications, datasheets, and bills of material
• coordinate instrumentation and controls requirements
• perform and review electrical calculations and analyses
• document design decisions
• conduct QA/QC reviews of drawings, calculations, specifications, schedules, bills of material, and vendor documents
• coordinate across project disciplines and resolve design conflicts.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited university and 5+ years of low- and medium-voltage distribution experience; industrial, gas facility, or process environment experience required; ETAP/SKM and California EIT are preferred.
