The substitute advisor helps maintain a safe, orderly residential program while supporting students’ personal goals and independent living skills. The role provides coverage across dormitory and program activities and coordinates with students, counselors, instructors, and other staff.

What you'll do

• Provide substitute or call-in residential advisor coverage
• supervise and participate in dorm cleanup and submit repair requests
• supervise cafeteria, laundry, activities, and other assigned areas
• support students with problems and personal goals
• maintain student records, logs, and accurate case notes
• communicate with counselors, instructors, and staff
• transport students to activities as needed
• conduct dorm checks and support safety, security, and order.

Why this role
