Automotive Lube Technician

The Automotive Lube Technician role is onsite in Orange, TX, with pay of $15–$18 per hour. The full-time schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Mike Willis Ford Orange’s service department maintains and repairs vehicles with attention to safety, quality, and communication. The technician performs routine maintenance and basic inspections, documents findings, and communicates recommendations to service advisors. The role supports the service team’s daily workflow while building automotive maintenance skills through training.

What you'll do

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and routine maintenance
• inspect vehicle components and complete multi-point inspections
• document findings on repair orders
• communicate recommendations to service advisors
• check and rotate tires and assist with tire services
• use tools safely
• maintain clean service bays and protect vehicles
• handle and dispose of shop materials safely
• support service technicians and participate in training.
