Shift Leader

Job overview

The Shift Leader role is onsite in Yuma, AZ; compensation is not specified. The role supports Carl’s Jr. restaurant operations and works with the Restaurant Management Team to carry out the restaurant’s business plan. When the General Manager and Manager are absent, the Shift Leader oversees restaurant activities, crew performance and guest service. Training, shift supervision and operational routines help maintain quality, service and cleanliness while supporting sales and cost goals.

What you'll do

• Oversee restaurant activities while the General Manager and Manager are absent
• ensure crew members meet job expectations
• maintain guest satisfaction and quality, service and cleanliness standards
• monitor staffing and labor costs
• train and provide feedback to crew
• direct shift work
• complete administrative duties and paperwork
• supervise opening or closing duties as directed
• enforce company policies and standards.

Why this role

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The role requires completion of the Crew Person Training Program, age 18 or older, reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Flexible hours include opening and closing shifts.
