Environmental Technician

Job overview

The Environmental Technician role is onsite in Wilmington, MA and the North Shore of Massachusetts; pay is $22–$25 per hour depending on experience. What you'll do

• Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of treatment plants and associated pump stations
• inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment at water and wastewater facilities as assigned
• respond to emergencies and work shifts, on-call, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of mechanical experience, and a valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain a water or wastewater treatment operator license within one year is preferred. The role includes on-call and weekend work as assigned.
