What you'll do

• Direct day-to-day regional office operations
• identify distribution channels for New York State industries
• assist exporters with local connections, language assistance, business protocols, and regulations
• develop strategies to sustain and expand markets and identify prospects
• provide foreign market intelligence
• build relationships with government, business, civic, cultural, and professional organizations
• plan and implement trade shows
• attend trade shows and investment missions
• maintain a trade-event database
• prepare reports on industry statistics and market trends
• represent ESD on state economy and business climate issues.
