Social Service Director

The Social Service Director role is onsite in Charlottesville, VA, on the day shift. Compensation is $25–$32 per hour. The position supports the skilled nursing community’s Social Services Department and its work to meet residents’ emotional and social needs. The director helps plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the department’s ongoing social services program. The role contributes to residents’ psychosocial well-being by ensuring services are individualized and aligned with assessments, facility policies, and applicable standards and regulations.

What you'll do

• Ensure residents’ medically related emotional and social needs are met and maintained individually
• assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Social Services Department
• support an ongoing program designed around residents’ comprehensive assessments and psychosocial well-being
• follow applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and facility procedures.
