What you'll do

• Manage purchasing and inventory for assigned product lines
• analyze demand, inventory levels, lead times, and sales history
• determine purchasing quantities and timing
• manage purchase orders with international suppliers
• negotiate pricing, terms, minimum order quantities, and lead times
• monitor backorders, shortages, excess, and slow-moving inventory
• coordinate international shipments and supplier issues
• maintain purchasing and inventory data in the ERP system
• identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
