The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) role is onsite in Nacogdoches, TX; compensation is not specified. The CMA supports resident health and comfort by administering prescribed medications safely and on time, monitoring residents for reactions or changes, and communicating concerns to nursing staff. Accurate records, adherence to facility and state requirements, and coordination with the care team help maintain safe, consistent care.

What you'll do

• Administer prescribed medications according to the five rights
• monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns to nursing staff
• maintain medication records and document changes in condition
• assist nursing staff with routine care tasks as needed
• follow facility policies, state regulations, and medication safety protocols
• explain medication procedures to residents
• participate in ongoing training and competency evaluations.
