The Fuel Farm Machinist Lead role is onsite at Arnold Air Force Base, TN, with pay of $41.89–$46.54 per hour. The position supports TOS II and the U.S. Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment effort at the Arnold Engineering and Development Complex. The lead assists Fuels Management with daily fuel-section operations and assigned personnel. Operating and maintaining fuel and gas systems, handling fuel transfers, and supporting safety procedures contribute to reliable operations in a high-hazard testing environment.

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain fuel storage and distribution systems and equipment
• receive, sample, store, transfer, and issue fuel through pipelines and tank trucks
• operate and maintain a high-pressure LN2/GN2 conversion facility and distribution equipment
• assign overtime as required when the Terminal Manager is absent
• wear required PPE
• participate in functional safety training
• perform other duties as required.
