What you'll do

• Audit provider documentation and assigned CPT and ICD-10 codes
• assess whether documentation supports billed diagnoses and procedures
• identify coding errors, documentation deficiencies, and charge-capture issues
• review coding work from coders and healthcare professionals
• provide educational feedback
• deliver coding and documentation education
• stay current on CMS, state, and payer requirements
• collaborate with the Coding Supervisor and Regional Medical Directors
• perform charge entry and charge review as needed
• recommend corrective actions and support process improvement.
